Springs Youth Rugby Club u-8 team holds prize-giving
In the 10-man games, the u-8s played 52 games, winning 37, losing 10 and drawing five.
The Springs Youth Rugby Club u-8 team held their end-of-season prize-giving on Saturday evening.
Prizes were handed out to the team as they were congratulated on their excellent performance during the season.
Parents, players, friends and coaches enjoyed themselves as they looked back on a fantastic season.
In the 10-man games, the u-8s played 52 games, winning 37, losing 10 and drawing five.
Their defence was excellent as they only had 88 tries scored against them while they scored 166 tries.

In their 15-man games, the team played eight games and won seven.
In their only loss for the season, they lost by a single point to the opposition.
They scored 93 tries and had 44 tries scored against them.
Addressing the team, first team player Dawie van Nieuwenhuizen says, “The team must be very proud of their performance and they can go into the new season with confidence, knowing how well they played.
“The team is getting the right coaching from the start, but they are also having fun and love the game.”
