New social pool club open on 12th Street

The club is aiming to qualify to play in other social leagues and eventually the Eastern Gauteng Pool Association (EGPA) leagues.

A new social pool team is looking for members to join.

Players of all abilities and ages are invited.

Coaching will be available for those who want to either learn how to play or improve their game.

“There is a great demand in Springs and people were not aware of the facilities that exist.

“The concept we have here is a bit different in that we have no buy-in, entry is free,” says coach John Raouna.

Players will play in the eight-ball international format.

“We are looking to start immediately and there’s no limit on the number of people that can join us.

“They are more welcome to come to the club and view the premises and get a feel of the place and practice,” says Raouna.

The club has four tables that are up to EGPA standards.

There are also refreshments, food and safe parking available for those who wish to join.
