Golfers remember Bennie at the Springs Country Club
This was the second edition of the tournament in honour of Bennie de Lange, long-standing captain of Springs Country Club who died in 2017.
The Bennie de Lange Memorial competition took place at the Springs Country Club last Wednesday.
This was the second edition of the tournament in honour of Bennie de Lange, long-standing captain of Springs Country Club who died in 2017.
The day attracted a good field of 73 players and was played in excellent weather conditions.
The winner received the Bennie de Lange Memorial Shield, which was kindly donated by Ian and Pam Johnson.

Handicap League: Springs Country Club beat Ebotse 5-1
Club Captain Deon Kotzé says entry sheets for the Betterball Knockout will be up from this weekend and urged players to enter early to get a good field this year.
“Our senior league team is up against Daveyton this weekend and we wish them well.
“Please support the Joker Draw every Friday and come and support the happy hour from 5pm to 6pm and try your luck at the jackpot,” says Kotzé.
