A seven-year-old boy made a shocking discovery when he found a mutilated infant in Skoonplaas last Wednesday afternoon.

The body of the infant, approximately two days old missing its right leg and its genitals, was found on the street by the boy.
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says they are still searching for the mother and charges are pending.
