STBC holds a fund-raising event
Springs Town Bowling Club held an annual fund-raiser on Sunday morning in partnership with the friends of Marievale Nature Reserve.
Springs Town Bowling Club held an annual fund-raiser at the Springs Town Bowling Club in Geduld last Sunday morning in partnership with the friends of Marievale Nature Reserve.
Yvonne Lotter, the Springs Town Bowling Club lifetime member and former president says, “This is an annual event.
“We are having a fun day and people are only playing just so that we can raise funds.”
Annelize Donaldson, a Marievale Nature Reserve board member, says the funds will go towards maintaining Marievale.

Pam Winter from Dunnotor says, “I am actually not a bowler even though it’s not my first time bowling.
“Today I am bowling to support Marievale as it is in desperate need of funding.”
