Dominant weekend for Old Boys as they show Rovers no mercy

"We were completely dominant"

The Old Boys under-11 team took to the field on Saturday and Sunday under windy and cold conditions.

The players were not deterred by this, and played with intent and a fierce hunger for victory.

Taking on Rovers on Saturday, the Old Boys dominated every aspect of the game and thrashed them 6-1.

This was insult to injury for the Rovers as the Old Boys gave them a similar thrashing on their home ground, winning 7-3.

On Sunday they went up against Edenvale who brought a little more resistance with them but were no match for the u-11 team who came out on top 5-4.

Coach Gabriel Dailly is proud of the players and says: “We were all over them, they had no place to go. We were completely dominant throughout the whole game.”
