The betterball knockout final was contested at the Springs Country Club in December and saw a battle between fathers and sons.
The teams in the finals were Doug Buckley, recently selected chairperson, and Bennie Coleman, who came up against their sons, Byron Buckley and Dylan Coleman.
“We cannot recall this ever happening in recent years but in the end Doug and Bennie triumphed. The fathers versus sons clash ended 3-2. Well done to the fathers,” said Deon Kotze from the club.

The subscription fees for 2021 are as follows:

Discounts will be given to fees paid before January 15.
All members of Ekurhuleni Golf Union clubs will enjoy reciprocity at the Springs Country Club until January 15.Last Wednesday Jose Carrazon won the IPS with 43 points.

On Friday in the Meat Competition, Vernon Hendrikse took first place with 36 points oco.
On Saturday in the IPS, Christo Nortje took first place with 38 points oco.
He was closely followed by Gawie Greef on 38 points.
