Pollak aiming higher after 100 years

“There has been a dramatic transformation at the club, which is unusual considering the financial struggles at all golf clubs and sports venues."

Pollak Park Golf Club was abuzz as more than 200 golfers enjoyed the club’s centenary celebration.
“There has been a dramatic transformation at the club, which is unusual considering the financial struggles at all golf clubs and sports venues.
“Most sports clubs are battling to make ends meet; however, Pollak Park has become a very exciting clubhouse and course with wide, sweeping changes all over the place,” explained Bruce Gardner, a member of the club.

Keanu Marques did not struggle to complete the course on Saturday morning at Pollak Park Golf Club.

According to Gardner, the clubhouse has been redecorated and many areas either refurbished and new areas have been created to give members and visitors top-class service and amenities.
“This time last year, we were about to be locked in our homes and preparing for a dismal period of isolation and dread.
“But now we are all very excited about the future of our club and looking forward to each visit with great expectation,” he said.
