Springs Country Club results

Golfers at the Springs Country Club took full advantage of the sunny weather last week.
On Wednesday, Jorsie Lira won the meat comp 18 holes with 38 points.
Christo Jacobs took the top spot in Friday’s meat comp with 19 points.
On Saturday the club hosted a Betterball Stableford with Scramble drive.

Jose Carrazon and Louanne Kruger won with 66 points, followed by Christo Nortje and Jorsie Lira 50 points and Gawie Greeff and Joe Pretorius came in third with 47 points.
“This Friday the meat comp will be over a Par 3 course in celebration of the US Open.
“On June 25 we are having our annual Springs Open Foursomes over 36 holes. This is open to any affiliated members from any club.
“Please contact the pro shop to book,” said Deon Kotze, the club’s captain.
