Win Parlotones tickets

On August 10 the Parlotones return to SA for their first major South African concert since their move to LA at the beginning of the year.

The year has been a non-stop roller coaster ride since the band’s arrival in Los Angeles in January. A full agenda has kept them on their toes as they began work on their fifth studio album, Stand Like Giants, due for release in September.

Having landed in Los Angeles, the guys hit the ground running with a feature on KROQ drive time DJ Ted Stryker’s show. –

Stryker was introduced to the band by a colleague and after doing some research online he became an instant fan proclaiming on air that he would be the one to show the band around LA. –

That is exactly what happened and the afternoon was turned into a TV insert for his brand new show on CBS. –

The day kept getting better as Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots came to see their performance at their sold out Viper Room show and offered to jump on stage and join The Parlotones for a song.-

With this and more happening to the boys during their stay in LA, they have decided it is time to come home to entertain their local fans.-

The Parlotones will be delivering a very special performance at the Big Top Arena at Carnival City on August 10 at 8pm.-

This will be a unique performance which will give the audience the opportunity to interact with the band and ask them the questions they have always wanted to ask. –

Tickets for the show are between R175 and R300 and are available through Computicket at 0861 915 8000 or www.computicket.com.-
