Kris Kristofferson at Carnival

Legendary musician Kris Kristofferson will be performing live at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City on March 22.

Kristofferson is known for having written immortal songs including Me and Bobby McGee, Help Me Make It Through the Night, Sunday Morning Coming Down and For the Good Times, and for most stars that would have cemented their star in Hollywood.

But in addition to his enduringly popular songs, he has released 28 albums and acted in 119 films and TV shows.

Add the names Janis Joplin, Barbra Streisand and Rita Coolidge, being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, winning a Grammy and spells as a Golden Gloves boxer, a Rhodes scholar, a college football player, a military officer, and a helicopter pilot and you have got to admit that he has lived life to the full.

His music is honest and meaningful and reflects a life well lived.

Kris Kristofferson has never stopped working creatively and his latest album, Feeling Mortal is a melodic note of gratitude from creator to Creator.

The show starts at 8pm.
