Daniel dances in Los Angeles

He received six golden medals for his dancing items at the World Championships of Performing Arts.

Daniel Ourique (12) was a member of the South African team that participated in this competition, held in Los Angeles from July 11 to 19.

He received a prestigious industry medal that the judges from Hollywood awarded him for his outstanding talent.

Daniel won golden medals for hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, ethnic/folk in which he did a Spanish dance, open and cha-cha.

He also received a Champion of the World Divisional Winner trophy for hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, open and cha-cha.

With his hip-hop item, he was chosen as finalist, one of the top five junior dancers at the competition.

He also participated in the final showcase of the championships with the hip-hop item.

Daniel is a student at Nicole’s World of Dance and wants to dance for the rest of his life.
