I take my Husky and my cross poodle for a walk everyday and on Saturday decided to go to our local pond area.
I discovered that there were special human beings cleaning up the middle island area and cutting down reeds and trees, as they were quite concerned for the birds hurting themselves.
They have taken the whole Saturday, out of their busy business schedules, to make our park a better place.

Selcourt can do with a little more friendliness and user friendly parks, so I nominate the two gentlemen mentioned the citizen of Selcourt of the Month award.
Mary Giovanelli.
