‘Constantly being separated’
DVD: Love, Rosie Reviewed by: Samantha Keogh Review made possible: Times Media Home Entertainment

Love, Rosie, which is based on the novel by Cecelia Ahern, is a charming coming-of-age romantic drama staring Lilly Collins and Sam Claflin as Rosie Dunne and Alex Stewart, who have been best friends since childhood and, despite a series of bad relationships on both sides, yearn for one another for more than 20 years.
While they are their own worst enemies when it comes to love and life, time and continents cannot separate these star-crossed lovers as they remain best friends and each other’s “go to” person in times of crisis, despite everything else going on in their somewhat messy lives.
While it has a few naughty moments, the film is suitable for most audiences and will appeal to teenage girls and soppy women.
It’s a great movie for a girl’s night with a fun (though somewhat predictable) story line and a rocking soundtrack.
There’s very little thinking required and the story is sure to make any romantically inclined girl swoon when the hero finally gets it right and claims his lady – the epitome of the modern knight in shining armour.
