• Selcourt Methodist Church Holy Week services will take place at 7 Granada Road, Selcourt. Palm Sunday March 25 at 8am and 9.30am, March 26, 27 and 28 at 10am and 6pm, Passover meal and Tenebrae service March 29 at 10am and 6pm. R30 a meal, RSVP by March 26 with services at 8am and noon (three-hour service). Resurrection / Easter Sunday service will be held at 6am on April 1 at Jack Ellis Park in Selcourt Enclosure and at 8.30am, combined service at the church led by Rev Louise Wernich. • Youth group happening for children and teens at the Selcourt Methodist Church. The group is run during school terms at the church situated at 7 Granada Road, Selcourt. Children’s youth group (ages six to 12) starts at 5.30pm and runs until 6.45pm. The teenage group (ages 13 to 18) meets from 7pm until 9pm. Contact Enoch Mhlanga on 060 360 6832.

• The Parkinson’s Support Group will hold their meeting at Rynpark 6, corner of Struben and Parker streets, Rynfield, Benoni at 10a.m. Contact Heather Smith on 011 849 8509.

• Bokkie Park Easter market. Free Easter egg hunt for the first 100 children. Collect your entry form at 9am, the hunt starts at 10am. There will be live entertainment as well as food and crafts stalls. The Bokkie Park is located on Southvale Road, Parkdene, Boksburg. Contact Janine Richardson on 072 713 3332.
• Three-koppie group hike of up to 10km through the Melville Koppies. Sets off 8.30am sharp. Park, meet and pay in the upper car park at Marks Park, Judith Rd, Emmarentia.
