On Sunday, Jolly Brothers had a cracker, winning their two games.
First they played Spitbraai, who won the toss and chose to bat first.
They struggled with the bat, scoring only 99 runs in their 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets.
Spitbraai’s Kinghorn Tetsius put in a good performance with the bat, knocking 48 runs from 50 balls, just missing a half-century.
Christiaan van Tonder worked magic with the ball, taking two wickets from his overs and only conceding six runs.
However, this didn’t save his team from sinking.
Jobertus van Zyl of Jolly Brothers fired up with the bat, scoring 57 runs from 36 balls, with half the runs on the chase.
Jobertus was also on fire with the ball, taking two wickets from his three overs and conceding 11 runs.
Juan Jourbert came hot with the ball, taking two wickets from his three overs and only conceding nine runs.
In the other action, Beers & Tots kept their form from last season and welcomed Benoni Bench Warmers, who had a season break.

As always, Beers & Tots chose to bat first and posted 167 runs in their 20 overs for the loss of four wickets.
Juan van der Merwe and Dillen Crouise of Beers & Tots scored 50/36 and 51/26 respectively.

Not a bad comeback for Alberts, who has been away from LastManStands for the past six months, playing club cricket.
