The suspects then proceeded to search the house for valuable items and took a TV, a laptop, a microwave, three cellphones, a hardrive and R200 in cash and fled the scene on foot.

 

A couple in Dersley received a rude awakening when they woke up to the sounds of people in their house in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Upon investigating the source of the noise, the couple discovered four suspects in their house who demanded they be quiet.

The suspects then proceeded to search the house for valuable items and took a TV, a laptop, a microwave, three cellphones, a hardrive and R200 in cash and fled the scene on foot.

The suspects gained entry to the house by forcing a back window open.

There were no injuries during the course of the robbery.
