Stop being a sore loser and move on

I don’t understand why the small parties are crying foul over the election results.
Oh well, results might have been rigged as the parties allege, but if people didn’t vote for you they didn’t.
Elections might not have been free and fair, but why can’t we just accept defeat and move on.
I, for one, have always thought the top three parties after elections would be the African National Congress (ANC), Democratic Alliance (DA) and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).
So I just don’t understand why the smaller parties thought they would get to the top.
Say elections were really rigged, were the smaller parties going to get majority?
I doubt that because it takes more than registering to be on the ballot paper to win elections.
Also see: With smaller parties crying foul play, do you think the elections were free and fair?
I may not be a politician but I know for sure elections are a lot of work; I mean a lot of work has to be put into mobilising and more.
One thing that’s for sure is you cannot form a party today and expect to win elections tomorrow.
There are parties in existence for over 10 years, yet they don’t usually get into the top three parties, but they don’t cry foul.
So why form a party today, register tomorrow to contest elections and cry foul if you don’t win?
Majority of voters in this year’s elections might have been those who are 30 years and younger, but we should not forget there are still senior citizens who vote and if you never did enough work in popularising your party, how do you expect the seniors to know your party exists?
Isn’t it obvious that people who are not first-time voters and those who have not yet crossed from their parties to new parties would vote for the parties they have voted for before?
Stop being sore losers and accept defeat, elections have passed let’s move on.
