September 25
• The Springs and KwaThema Child Welfare Society will hold their AGM at 9.30am for 10am at Eastwood Guest Lodge, 2 Danie Street, New State Areas. Space is limited and booking by September 20 is essential. Contact Rose Moagi on 011 812 2345/6.
September 28
• Selpark CPF will host a family fun day at the Selpark Primary School sports ground. Gates open at 9am with loads of entertainment for all, including boeresports, a colour run, potjiekos competition, food and other stalls. No entry fee. • The Springs Retirement Village will host a Spring Tea at the Senior Citizens Club at 1.30pm. Entertainment will be provided by Trevor Nasser. For tickets or to host a table contact Jill Edgar on 082 412 1173.
• Rescheduled! Join Abbott and Crabb in concert on the banks of the Grootvaly Blesbokspruit. Bring your picnic hamper, drinks and camping chairs and join them for a blast from the past. • Join the Springs Park Rotary Anns at Riverside Country Estate for Breakfast for Cansa, where there will be great food, an excellent motivational speaker and it is for a good cause. • Windy Corner Shellhole is having a mini-Highland games day to raise funds. It will include a flea market, craft beer and jumping castle, followed by a dinner dance. Every first Wednesday of the month
