Bingo as popular as always at the senior centre
Many of the elders see the bingo games as one the highlights of their week.
There was great excitement in the air as elders gathered in the main hall of the Springs Senior Citizens Centre for their final bingo day of the year on Tuesday afternoon.

Cookies and hot coffee and tea were enjoyed by the players as the games progressed.
Bessie Smit and Margaret McCreath called out the numbers as the elders eagerly coloured in the numbers on their boards with markers.

The seniors delighted in the friendly competition and each others’ company.
The winners included Dennis Niemand, Leyman Steyn, Daphny Gloy, Stella Jadiaros, Colleen Reid, Gerry Sadler, Margaret Grant and Netta Laynes.
