Tsakani – Tsakani police are investigating a case of murder after a 24-yearold man was fatally shot outside his home on Saturday night.

The shooting took place at an address along Cornwell Street in Extension 17.

The man was declared dead on the scene by paramedics.

According to Tsakani police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu, no one saw the shooter/s or how they fled from the scene.

“The deceased’s family reported that he was shot when he went to check outside after hearing someone calling him.

“The investigation is underway and we appeal to residents who might have any information that would
help us to come forward,” she added.
