There was plenty of action on the Old Boys cricket pitches on Sunday with some outstanding performance with both bat and ball.
Springs A took on MAQ in the first match of the day.
MAQ batted first and posted a daunting total of 203 after 20 overs, losing only four wickets.
Yasin Kaba (70), Ilyas Patel (54) and Sahil Khan (43) put in some outstanding performances with the willow to put their team in a winning position.
The Springs team, however, was not up to the task and fell short by 43 runs.
Moin Chand, Ilyas Patek and Rickus Neething were the pick of the bowlers, picking up three wickets a piece to reduce Springs to 155-9.
Chand was particularly economical, conceding only eight runs in his two overs.
Nelspruit took on Imityaz Turkey in the second match of the day.
Nelspruit found scoring difficult and was bowled out for 120 runs, with Moshin Lalo the top scorer with 19 runs.
