Make your own tissue box covers

The weekend is finally here and you're looking for ways to keep your kids busy. Why not make these tissue box covers using duct tape?

Today is the perfect day to get crafty with your children! Let’s face it, tissue boxes are not stylish, so, let’s give them a quick makeover! This fun, easy project uses materials that you probably already have at home. Best of all, it’s easy to make. In the following video, blogger Karen Kavett shows us how to turn ordinary tissue boxes into works of modern art with – wait for it – duct tape!

What you need

  • A tissue box or two
  • Colourful duct tape
  • Scissors and/or craft knife
  • Pencil
  • Cardboard
