Community invited to Strubenvale Primary fun walk

Strubenvale Primary School invites residents to join their annual 5km fun walk on which promises family entertainment and fun-filled activities.

Strubenvale Primary School invites the community to their annual fun walk on March 14, a family-oriented event to celebrate the successes of 2025 and the first term.

The event will include a 5km walk aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, as well as community involvement.

“Participants will enjoy a relaxed walk around the designated route while spending quality time with family, friends, and members of the community,” said the principal, Selby Nkosi.

The programme will also include entertainment for children, activities for both children and adults, food stalls, sponsor exhibitions and family-friendly recreational activities.

“The first 600 participants will receive a medal, and first to third-place prizes will be awarded,” he added.

The event will serve as a fundraising initiative for the school. Attendees are encouraged to bring their camping chairs and gazebos to relax comfortably.

Community members who would like to enquire about the event are welcome to contact the school office on 011 812 1632 during school hours.
