Pink Touch Foundation hosted its first pageant
“I would like to thank Miss Masuku who is the foundation of the NPO for her hard work, dedication, and the opportunity she granted to me,” Minenhle said.
The event was a huge success and three beautiful intelligent queens were crowned on the day.
Under the category, Miss Teen Kasi Emalahleni Sive Magaba won the title.

She is a 16-year-old teen from Ackerville who mentioned winning the title is not just about having the crown on her head, but also opening a room for opportunities, “I want to be the voice that will enable myself to reach out to girls suffering from self-doubt and poor body image by emphasizing the importance of self-love, acceptance, and affirmation.
As Gabourey Sidibe once said that “It doesn’t have anything to do with how the world perceives you, what matters is what you see,” Sive said.
In the little Miss Pink Touch Foundation category Minenhle Xaba won the title.
Minenhle emphasised her win is proof that one can do and achieve anything one puts their mind to, and not forgetting hard work and dedication, “This is a platform one will use to give back to the community,” Minenhle said.
She also said that queens are not just their crowns, but are individuals with the ability to guide those around her to give them a better, brighter future as she holds them by hand.
Minenhle promised to do a few projects that will address issues of self-love, self-care, and the importance of education, reading, and more. “I would like to thank Miss Masuku who is the foundation of the NPO for her hard work, dedication, and the opportunity she granted to me,” Minenhle said.

Junior Miss Pink Touch and Junior Miss Public Choice 2022/23 title was scooped by Tluhulo Maserumule (7) who said that the title reminded her that she is a queen. “It makes me feel like royalty. It shows me I can do whatever I put my mind to and it reminds me that as a queen I have a responsibility to be conscious of the community,” Tluhulo said.
Tluhulo hopes and dreams that one day she will be able to inspire young girls and remind them that they too are queens.
She wishes to set an example of what it truly means to be a queen, who is not only defined by outer beauty, but inner beauty and grace as well, “I also wish to become Miss South Africa in the future,” she said.
Pink Touch Foundation founder, Ayanda Masuku said, “We as the Pink Touch Foundation are honoured to have hosted the pageant on Saturday, November 26, and would like to thank all the contestants and their parents, every company and individual who contributed towards the event ‒ thank you to our ambassadors for their hard work and dedication,” Ayanda expressed.
