A few new stores in town

The much anticipated opening of the mall that has been under construction for over a year now has finally come.

The arrival of all things new was well received by the community of Kwa-Guqa, where the mall is situated.

Kwa-Guqa Mall, termed KG Mall, has opened its doors to customers on March 27. The opening of the mall was marked by a release of 2 000 balloons into the sky so that all who are far and wide would know that was the place to be on Thursday morning. The mall, although opened, is still under construction and not all its doors have been opened. A small side of the mall is still under construction and the building is expected to be completed within the month.

Executives from Falcon Group, Moolman Group and Shoprite were present at the opening to show their delight and give thanks to all those who attended and were considered as the first customers of a new baby in town.

Mr Ndhlabole Shongwe, who spoke on behalf of the executives, expressed their sheer delight and did not hesitate to mention that the events leading up to the opening were not easy steps indeed but they are very happy that it is finally operational and once completed another section will be added as per their initial plans for the mall.

The mall has created more than 650 jobs and those jobs are all occupied by people within the community of Vosman.
“It has given back to them and will still continue to do so as we have come and invaded their space, so we must have our way of saying thank you to them for their patience and reception of the development,” said Shongwe.
