
Two businesses were targeted and two people were robbed while walking in the streets of eMalahleni.
On Tuesday, January 19 at 23:45 Mr Stanley Lemon alleged that he was on duty behind the counter at a well-known night club.
It’s alleged that an unknown man walked into the place and fired one shot into the air. That’s when four other men entered the night club; it was full of people who were having a good time.
They demanded money from behind the counter, while the other two men went upstairs to the owner and they walked down with him.

Two cartridges were found at the scene on Tuesday, January 19 at the well-known night club.
That’s when they started grabbing jewellery, cell phones and money from the customers.
In total there were five men, one had a balaclava on.
According to Lemon everything happened so fast that he won’t be able to identify the men.
Two cartridges were found on scene and nobody was injured.
On January 22 at 21:00 in Haig Street it’s alleged that Mr Shadrack Mmakola was walking while speaking on his cell phone when he was approached by two unknown men.
They demanded that he handed over his cell phone, thats when they stabbed him in the leg. The men ran towards Claredon Street with his cell phone.
He was still holding his wound when a police van was patrolling the area and stopped to help him.
Earlier on the same evening at 18:30 Ms Mpolokeng Khorseng alleged that she was robbed while walking through Klipfontein parking area. She was approached by two unknown men, one took out a knife and the other one threatened her and took her cell phone.
On December 23 at approximately 12:00 the complainant left the premises for the December holidays, all the doors were closed and locked properly.
On Monday, January 04 when she returned for business at approximately 07:30 she found that her business had been broken into.
The garage door was forced open and the following items were stolen 12 laptops, seven cell phones, an internet modem and postage stamps.
No items have been recovered and no arrests have been made.
