Ga-Nala detectives were able to hunt down and arrest a 27-year-old man who faces charges of house breaking and theft; the man committed these crimes in December 2015.
He allegedly stole three computer sets, screens, Central Processing Unit, printers and a key board at Kriel. He apparently sold the two computers to different people and police are still searching for the third computer.
The suspect’s first appearance was on January 20 at Kriel Magistrate court where he was not given bail because he had no specific address. He appeared in court again on January 27. Ga-Nala police urges the community to come forward with any information that might help with the investigations about the last computer.
Contact D/Sgt Sam Nkuna on 017 648 4713. The spokesperson of Ga-Nala Cst. Lindiwe Sibanyoni requests the community to stop buying stolen goods.
“If you buy stolen goods you will be charged with possession of stolen property,” said Cst. Sibanyoni
