The most recent break in occurred at Hoërskool Patriot on Sunday morning, January 24 at approximately 02:00 when the first alarm went off.

The security company came out and checked, they never noticed anything that was wrong.
Once they left the suspects managed to disarm the alarm so they could break into the office building.
They managed to get into the safe, not getting much money inside there, they looked for other items to steal.
They took computers, laptops and various other pieces of office equipment.

On Tuesday, January 19 late in the evening or early hours of the morning of January 20 they managed to break into Laerskool Kragbron.
An alarm was set off when the window was broken in the office. The security company responded to the alarm.
They looked around the premises and could not see anything at the stage as the suspects hid in the bushes.
Once the security guards had left the scene, the suspects continued to break in after the alarm was disarmed.
The suspects cut open the big safe in the office building; a large amount of office equipment was taken from the safe.

Laerskool Reynorif was broken into the first week of school. The safe was also cut open and a large amount of office equipment was stolen.
