A 44years old female was arrested for being in possession of dagga. The arrest came from information received from a 17 year-old pupil.
The nine matchboxes with dagga and the loose dagga of about three hands full put inside a black plastic that were found from a 44 year-old suspect.
Vosman police were conducting the adopt-a-cop operation in the schools, when the 17 year old boy was found in possession of four rolled papers finger-tip each with dagga. The boy was not arrested with regard to the Children’s Act, however the information led to the arrest of a 44 years old female, who was found in possession of nine matchboxes with dagga each, loose dagga of about three hands full all inside a black plastic.
The Adopt a cop operation continues according to Captain Klaas Maloka and it seems to yield positive results.
The suspect will appear in court soon on a charge of possession of dagga.
