Nandos was robbed of money by two men who held a woman at gun point demanding cash.
The incident took place on February 15 at Klipfontein. It was at 23:07 when the woman who was standing at a counter saw two men enter the food store. The suspects allegedly pointed at the woman with a firearm demanding that she hands over all the money in the till and told her to also open the safe.
According to a police report the suspects managed to take the money in the till but could not access the money that was locked in a safe as the employees of the business did not have the access code of the safe.
It is alleged that the suspects left in a Volkswagen Polo. The store’s owner could not be reached for comment by the time of going to print.
