The Ogies Visual Policing and detectives units made 26 arrests during operations.
The operations were carried out over February 22 to 29.
During the operations nine people were arrested for assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, there were four arrests for drinking in public, two for the possession of suspected dagga, and two persons were arrested with regards to a warrant of arrest.
33 Vehicles were searched during visual policing operations in conjunction with the traffic department on the R555, four fines were issued during the operations held on February 29.
Police also arrested individual suspects for the following crimes, common assault, house break-in and theft, shoplifting, malicious damage to property, theft of motor vehicle, drunk in public, illegal immigration, possession of a dangerous weapon, and crimen injuria.
