
“I was sleeping when I heard someone in my house,” said the victim, Ms Nomvula Ngobeni.
On the night of Tuesday, March 8, she was woken up by a strange noise in her home.
“My roommate is usually home, but this specific night, she was working night shift. The intruders wore balaclavas so I could not see their faces,” she continued.
She also stated that she was held at gunpoint, where after they demanded money.
“They took my television, money and my cell phone,” Ngobeni stated.
She also said that they wanted to stab her with a knife.
“I think they only tried to scare me because they did not injure me, only a scrape on my chest,” she concluded.
