A 43-year-old woman’s car was hijacked at a four way stop but later recovered by her tracker company.
The incident happened on the evening of March 27 when the woman who was driving a silver Isuzu bakkie was coming from Klipfontein travelling in Naauwpoort’s direction. According to a police report when she got to the four way stop, there was a truck crossing and as she waited for her turn to continue with her journey, she was allegedly held at gunpoint by two men who came out of a black VW Golf and her car was hijacked. She got out of the motor vehicle, leaving her keys in the ignition.
The suspects then drove away in her car; the police report further states that the car was later discovered by a tracking company.
