Two killed in head-on collision on Van Dyk Drif Road
The cause of the collision is not yet known

Two men in their 30s were killed and another woman injured after a bakkie and light motor vehicle collided on the Van Dyk Drift Road, roughly 25km outside of Witbank.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene on found a wrecked bakkie and light motor vehicle on the side of the road. Pieces of both vehicles were found strewn across the road.
Paramedics inspected the occupants of the bakkie and found two men, believed to be in their 30s, lying trapped inside their vehicle showing no signs of life.
Unfortunately, both men had already succumbed to their multiple fatal injuries prior to the arrival of emergency services.
A passenger from the light motor vehicle was assessed and found to have sustained injuries to one of her ankles as well as her ribs. The patient was treated for her injuries and thereafter transported to Cosmos Hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
