A 31-year-old man was involved in a tragic incident when the vehicle he was driving was hijacked.
On April 21 when the man was delivering cigarettes at one of Del Judor’s supermarkets he was approached by a man who had a firearm and allegedly pointed it at him.
According to a police report the incident took place at 09:29 when the driver of the vehicle alongside the suspect got into the vehicle after he was allegedly ordered to get into his vehicle and drive. They drove to Nita Street where a white Hyundai was waiting for them.
The report further states that the three suspects offloaded 16 boxes of cigarettes into the white motor vehicle and soon after they were done they fled the scene.
The manager of the vehicle company did not want to comment on the crime.
