
Police were out on patrol when they were stopped by a resident of Coronation who tipped them off about a drug dealer.
The arrest took place on May 11 at about 16:00, police were patrolling Coronation when someone approached them explaining they had information regarding a drug dealer in the area.
Police followed the lead and saw a suspect attempt to run away, he was later caught, his home was searched and he was found to be in possession of a variety of narcotics.
The man appeared before the B-court of the Witbank Magistrates Court on Friday, May 13, his case was postponed to May 20 for further investigation.
