Car hits pole, pole hits pedestrian
It is a one in a million chance that a pedestrian would be hit by a robot and then land up in hospital while the driver sustained no injuries. But it happened.

It is one in a million chances that a pedestrian would be hit by a robot and then land up in hospital, while the driver sustained no injuries.
The accident happened on Thursday, May19 on the Bethal Road, when a white Uno was travelling along the road.
The driver of the Uno alleged that he was travelling along Bethal Road when he approached the robot a white Bakkie just cut in front of him.

To avoid a collision the driver swerved, lost control and collided into the robot.
The robot then fell over and hit a pedestrian that was walking next to the road.
The pedestrian Mr Darso Gambani just lay on the gravel as he did not know what hit him.
Emergency Services were called to the scene once they arrived Gambani was stabilised and taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Uno did not sustain any injuries.
