Dealer busted with R40 000 drugs by Vosman police

Vosman police recently arrested a drug dealer after an operation.

The successful operation was dubbed ‘Take Down Operation’ and was conducted on Tuesday, September 13, at Thala.

Drug dealer Sam John Mabuza (39) was arrested on Tuesday, after a joint police operation at Thala in Thushanang on Tuesday, September 13.

After information was provided several units of the police including the dog unit, (K9) conducted the operation and it was a success.

A suspect, Sam John Mabuza (39) was arrested after a controlled Section 252a at Thala near Thushanang in KwaGuqa, an operation was held previously with a shallow cover agent. The agent did controlled drug purchases from the dealer over the past three months.

Drugs to the value of R40 000 were found and a drug dealer Sam John Mabuza (39) was arrested on Tuesday, September 13 by the police.

According to the police during the operation the wife of the dealer was also searched and some of the drugs were found in her possession. Another wanted suspect was not at the address during the raid.

The suspect, Mabuza appeared at Witbank Magistrate Court and was remanded in custody to appear again on Thursday, September 22 for a bail application at the court.
