Festive season Operation was in pursuit at Vosman.
The operation was conducted from October 26 until October 31. The police thereby focused on factors that generate crime affecting the following arrests : 12 people were arrested for public drinking, three for possession of drugs, one for dealing in dagga, two for reckless and negligent driving and two for driving without a drivers licence, one person was arrested for use of a motor vehicle without the owners permission, two for robbery, four contempt of court, fourteen people for assault with grievous body harm, eight people for theft, three for trespassing, one for intimidation, three for common assault, two for shoplifting, two foreigners was arrested on the charges of being illegal immigrants, three arrests for malicious damage to property, four for rape and one person for murder.
The total number of persons brought to book is 62.
