Heavy rainfall and #Dineo: what’s in store for eMalahleni
The rain comes as a blessing for most if not all of eMalahleni, Dineo however did kill seven people and it has left an estimated 20 000 people homeless after the severe winds and heavy rain.

With the recent drought the rain comes as a blessing for most if not all of eMalahleni.
Residents will be pleased to know that rainfall is predicted for the entire week according to the Waterkloof Station and worldweatheronline.com.
Monday will see 9.30mm of rainfall, with high chance of light rain throughout the afternoon and evening.
Heavy rains will be experienced throughout Tuesday especially in the afternoon and evening with a rainfall of 58.20mm expected.
On Wednesday residents can expect light rain and drizzle throughout the day and evening and a rainfall of 47.20mm is expected.
Thursday will see less rainfall taking place as the expected count is only 28.50mm with moderate and light rains throughout the afternoon and evening.
On Friday light rains and drizzle will be experienced along with only 5.30mm expected rainfall.
Saturday’s forecast calls for patchy rain and only 10.30mm of expected rainfall, and Sunday will see only 0.60mm of rain being recorded along with the patchy rainfall
So what has happened to Dineo?
As Dineo left a path of destruction in Mozambique, it seems to have disappeared into thin area now.
According to certain reports Dineo had made its way up to Zimbabwe, but nothing could be confirmed.
Dineo however did kill seven people and it has left an estimated 20 000 people homeless after the severe winds and heavy rain.
Dineo did hit Zimbabwe as 50 families were stranded by the flood waters over the weekend had to be airlifted with helicopters to safety.
The Gwayi River burst its banks as Dineo hit the Southern African country.
On Monday, February 20 there were reports that Dineo had dissipated, but it did however leave lots of deviation in its path.
