It is alleged the bike had right of way as the robot was green on its side. Responding on Value Logistics behalf, the Group Marketing Manager Sharon Talyor said the company is aware of the incident in question and this matter is under investigation.

“We cannot comment as to who was responsible for this incident, but we assure you that we treat any accident and injuries sustained to those involved seriously,” said Taylor.

In the meantime he has entered another week at the Witbank Provincial Hospital. The latest update on him is that he is better and he moves a little but not too much. He is able to move his lips as well. His partner Bianca van der Berg mentioned that the doctor said the infection is under control and that he is improving. His hands and feet are not as swollen. His blood pressure is also stable.

“I prayed for him, I told him that Jesus is there for him. He is standing next to his bed and will heal him. When I told him how blessed he is, he started crying,” said Van der Berg.

She remains thankful to those that continue to send her encouragement messages and are carrying on keeping him in their prayers. She appreciates it all and is optimistic that with such support he will definitely pull through.
