Mr Bertie Truter (56) and his employee Mr Oupa Pieter Ntuli (36) of the farm Truter farming near Arbor area in Ogies.

They were flying in a Robinson R44 helicopter over the farm.

According to witnesses, the tail of the helicopter broke completely off sending the chopper into a spin. The helicopter fell in the field bursting into flames.

Both the pilot and passenger died.
