SACCW patrol to take our city back

The patrol took place from 23:00 to 04:00.

A mass patrol was organised by members of the SACCW (South African Community Crime Watch) and the police joining forces to limit crime in the city.

On Friday, March 2 around 56 people gathered at a garage in Geringer Street with Capt Tsidi Mamarega, Const Monty Madlala from Vosman and Const Jabulani Mpangane, deputy sector 2 commander.

Ms Maureen Scheepers from the SACCW said that they would like to thank every person who attended the patrol.

“There was such a great turn out and it was encouraging to see the amount of people who are serious about crime prevention in their areas. A special thank you goes to Capt Mamarega and her team for their participation and support throughout the patrol.”

The patrol took place from 23:00 to 04:00.

Mr Stanley White, manager of sector 2 added that the patrol was a huge success and that they will keep the public updated about upcoming patrols.
