Drug-store cowboys arrested

A young man was arrested on Sunday, March 4 after apparently stealing his mother’s wedding ring.

Witbank SAPS are narrowing down the number of drug dealers on the streets.

A young man was arrested on Sunday, March 4 after apparently stealing his mother’s wedding ring.

When the officer on duty asked him to clear his pockets, two cigarette packets were found.

One packet contained a green plastic bag filled with what is suspected to be heroin.

On Friday, March 3 while busy with a stop and search, duty officers spotted two suspicious looking males outside a cell phone shop.

One of the suspects tried to run away after the officers introduced themselves.

That was when the officers knew that something was wrong.

They caught him and searched him for drugs, which they found. He was then arrested.

At Old Coronation a male was arrested after the officer on duty along with his colleague decided to search him.

The search produced 11 packets of wrapped drugs. This incident happened on Friday, March 3.
