The R555 is open.
Protestors are moving to the municipal building to raise their voice about the water issue plaguing their community the past three weeks.
They had dry taps and the absence of the acting municipal manager, Mr Sizwe Maisela, the mayor, Cllr Lindiwe Ntshalitshali and the ward councillor Cllr Roy Cronje had tempers flaring on Monday, March 26 and Tuesday March 27.

The road was closed and tyres scorched leaving commuters stranded.
“We had enough. Nobody is listening to our plea for water. It is a human right, but we do not have the luxury thereof,” a resident said.
Police opened the road and is keeping an eye on the situation.
