Samaritan loses life after shooting in Francois Street

A man was shot on Friday night, 13 April in Francois Street.

A shooting claimed the life of an innocent samaritan, after he allegedly tried to help a man whose motorbike broke down.

The owner of the motor bike said that the victim stopped next to him, when he had trouble with his bike and asked if he could assist.

As the victim was about to get back into his vehicle, an alleged five shots were fired from another vehicle, killing the victim.
His vehicle and cell phone was stolen.

No information is available as to what may have led to this incident.
