It took them less than two minutes to rob a business

Three suspects are wanted in connection with the Welcome Tuckshop business robbery.

The clip as recorded on CCTV shows that it took one minute and 39 seconds for the crime to be committed.
Welcome Tuckshop situated in Thubelihle was robbed on Tuesday, April 3 around 11:30.

According to the complainant (cashier), three men entered the shop and closed half the garage door. The first suspect who is slender built was wearing a black leather jacket, hoody, black jeans and white and pink tekkies. He had a silver firearm.

The second suspect was wearing black clothes and a grey beanie. He was carrying a black firearm.
The third suspect was wearing a white, blue and yellow striped t-shirt and a blue cap.


Three suspects are wanted in connection with the Welcome Tuckshop business robbery.

The second suspect was carrying a back pack which he used to load the money in. The third suspect went over the counter and took airtime vouchers. All suspects were isiZulu speaking people.

An eye witness who partially saw the incident said the suspects ran out of the shop and got into a white double cab bakkie with an unknown registration number.

Despite the suspects carrying firearms, no shots were fired.

Items stolen include airtime to the value of R3 500 and R4 900 cash.
