New Life Church hosted Shift Men’s Conference on Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21.

The conference saw men spend the weekend growing and learning from various Christian leaders and develop together in smaller groups throughout the event after each talk.

The guest speaker was Joseph Mathiba, a pastor from Botswana. His theme was ‘Stand in righteousness’.

“Do not define yourself based on your past mistakes. Shift, you are not your actions. Choose to stand in righteousness,” said Joseph.

One of the attendees, Lucas Nengovhela said the reason he attended the event was to be sharpened as a man.

The conference was an event that was set to build into the lives of the men and help them to become the ‘man’ that God intended them to be.
