Let’s talk business

The Middelburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a business talk for their members.

This meeting took place on Wednesday, April 11 at The Ridge Casino conference centre.

Monica Joao, Maphakiso Maesela and Valerie Pienaar from Middelburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The guest speakers at the event included Johan Coetzee from the Save eMalahleni Campaign, Isaac Matshego, an economist from Nedbank and Andrew Maralack, the Chief Financial Officer from Highveld Business Park.

Charles Makola (save eMalahleni), Anna-Marth Ott (Middelburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Andrew Maralack and Johan Coetzee (save eMalahleni).

Johan informed the attendees that the Save eMalahleni Campaign is not a political platform, it is a community based project driven by the community for the community of eMalahleni.

This is mainly to ensure a brighter future for our city.

Isaac had an inspirational talk about the economic status of South Africa and how the situation in eMalahleni is a reflection of the situation in the country.

Isaac ensured the attendees that the economics of SA is looking much better than it did a few months ago.

Andrew closed the proceedings with an in depth presentation on Highveld Business Park, previously known as Highveld Steel.
